PROFESSIONAL PAPER
**To ensure you will graduate on time, it is highly recommended NOT to wait until the last day to submit drafts to your committee; depending on the quality of the paper submitted, several drafts may be necessary!
| October 30 | Last day to submit draft of PP to committee. |
| November 13 | Last day to submit final copy of PP to committee. |
| Last day to submit application for oral defense. Appendix F | |
| December 4 | Last day to defend PP. |
THESIS DEADLINES
**To ensure you will graduate on time, it is highly recommended NOT to wait until the last day to submit drafts to your committee; due to the complex nature of a thesis and amount of material covered, it is assumed several drafts are necessary!
| September 16 | Submit draft of thesis to committee |
| October 19 | Last day to submit application for oral defense. Appendix F |
| October 26 | Submit final copy of thesis to committee (1 week prior to defense application) |
| November 2 | Last day to defend thesis and submit final copy of thesis to committee |
| November 12 | Last day to submit thesis to graduate dean |
| December 10 | Last day to submit thesis to Alkek Library |
